What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and run your trip:

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, telephone number, country of residence.
• Trip details: travel dates, party size, children's ages, budget range and the preferences you describe.
• Information suppliers require to make a booking: passport details, dietary requirements, and any medical or mobility information you choose to disclose.
• Your email address, if you request newsletter updates.
• Standard technical data your browser sends to our host, such as IP address and browser type.

We do not ask for card numbers by email and do not want them. Card payments are handled by our payment providers on their own systems.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, make the bookings your trip requires, and stay in touch while you are travelling. If you request newsletter updates, we use your email only for those updates and will honour a request to stop.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the suppliers who need it to deliver your trip: lodges, camps, transport operators, activity operators, guides and, where relevant, immigration authorities. We share the minimum each one requires. Website form submissions are processed by our website host, Netlify, and are accessed only by authorised team members.

If you found us through SafariBookings, Tripadvisor or Viator, that platform has its own privacy policy covering the enquiry you sent through them. Payments made through WeTravel are governed by WeTravel's policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years so that we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us. Booking and financial records are kept for the period Zimbabwean tax and company law requires. Newsletter-update requests are kept until they are fulfilled or you ask us to remove them.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, and the contact page embeds a Google map; both set cookies under Google's own policies when they load. Any third-party booking widget you interact with will set its own.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to retain. Write to the email address below and we will action it within 30 days.
