Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any tour or service with Zambezi Quest Travel and Tours. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions

Booking and Payment

To book a tour or service with us, you need to fill out our booking form and pay a deposit of a minimum of 20% of the total price at the time of booking. The deposit will secure your place on the tour or service and will be deducted from the final payment, which is due at least 30 days before the departure date of the tour or service. If you book within 30 days of departure, you need to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

You can pay by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or cash. Please note that some payment methods may incur additional fees or charges. For more information, please contact us or visit our website.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees will apply:

• More than 30 days before departure: 20% of the paid deposit.
• 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total price
• Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total price (no refund)
• We reserve the right to cancel any tour or service due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, health emergencies, or other events that may affect the safety or enjoyment of our clients. In such cases, we will offer you the following options:
  • Transfer your booking to another tour or service of equal or lesser value, subject to availability and price difference
  • Receive a credit voucher for the amount paid, valid for one year from the date of issue
  • Receive a full refund of the amount paid, excluding any fees or charges

We are not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of cancellation, such as travel insurance, visa fees, vaccinations, airfares, or other costs.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, emergency evacuation, and other risks that may arise during your travel. You are responsible for ensuring that your travel insurance is adequate and suitable for your needs. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, or claim that may occur during your travel.

Travel Documents

You are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents, such as passport, visa, vaccination certificate, and other documents that may be required by the authorities of the countries you visit. You must ensure that your travel documents are in order and comply with the laws and regulations of the countries you visit. We are not liable for any consequences that may arise from your failure to obtain or carry proper travel documents.

Responsibility and Liability

We act as an agent for various suppliers, such as hotels, lodges, transport companies, guides, operators, and other service providers. We do not own or operate any of these suppliers and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or performance of any supplier or service.

We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, delay, inconvenience, or expense that may arise from your participation in any tour or service. You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and dangers and that you assume full responsibility for your own actions and decisions. You agree to release us from any claim or liability that may arise from your participation in any tour or service.

You agree to follow our instructions and regulations during your travel. You agree to respect the rights and property of others and to behave in a courteous and responsible manner. You agree not to engage in any illegal or unethical activity during your travel. You agree not to cause any damage or harm to any supplier or service provider. You agree to indemnify us for any loss or damage that may result from your breach of these terms and conditions.

Complaints and Disputes

If you have any complaint or problem during your travel, you should inform us as soon as possible so that we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you should write to us within 14 days after the end of your travel with full details of your complaint. We will respond to you within 28 days after receiving your complaint.

General Provisions

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your booking and travel with us. No other terms or conditions, whether written or oral, will apply.

These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms and conditions or from your booking or travel with us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on our website. You are advised to check our website regularly for any changes.
